IV European Convention of Collecting arrives, that is dedicated to the Civil War from concord

The Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones of Torremolinos will be the framework for the 4th European Collecting Convention of the European Convention for Collectors (ECC 2017) from 24 to 26 November, an event that will bring together values ​​and collections in philately, numismatics and old paper – in many cases unique exhibitions – dedicated to the Civil War, from an optic of concord, and with which the 80th anniversary of the end of the war in Malaga is commemorated.

The ECC returns to Torremolinos two years after the second edition also had as protagonist the locality, in February of 2015. That year Torremolinos was incorporated to the circuit of the great European fairs of collecting, locating at the level of London (Stampex), Paris (Planète Timbre, Salon d’automne), Germany with its annual fairs of Essen or Sindelfingen, or Veronaphil of Italy.

The best of national and international trade will attend this event. It is a time to enjoy the universe of collecting values, documents and unique pieces in the world, with collections of more than one million euros. During the days of the exhibition, and only in it, the second Prestige Card will be on sale, with a limited circulation of 10,000 copies.

The first edition of this card was made in 2016 in Zaragoza, with great success among collectors who soon sold out.

Conferences and complementary activities

Organized by the National Association of Businessmen of Philately and Numismatics (ANFIL) and with the sponsorship of the State Post and Telegraph Society, the National Currency and Stamp Factory (FNMT) and the Spanish Federation of Philatelic Societies (FESOFI), the monographic exhibition from ‘The Civil War: a vision towards concord from collecting’, the ECC 2017 is complemented by an extensive program of conferences and activities. Admission to the exhibition and activities is free and free.

As activities will be presented the platform “Sell and Buy in Catawiki”, and the presentation of the books ‘In Search of Perfect Seal III: The Republic’ and ‘The Civil War: The Seals of Humanitarian Institutions’, by Gabriel Camacho Rosales; the “Catalog of Social Assistance Emblems” by Mario Mirmán, Luis Treviño, Luis Giménez and Francisco Hernández; and “The Local Civil War Tickets.” Two volumes, written by Rafael González Hidalgo.

The IV European Collecting Convention will open doors on Friday, November 24 at 10:30 am and until Sunday, November 26, at 2:00 pm.
